Afghan Rumour Bazaar - Talk with Nushin Arbabzadah

Nushin Arbabzadah is a lecturer in International Area Studies at UCLA International Institute and a Research Scholar at the Center for the Study of Women UCLA, Los Angeles.

 

She is also a writer and in this interview we talk about the diversity of Afghanistan and her latest book “Afghan Rumour Bazaar - secret sub-cultures, hidden worlds and the everyday life of the absurd -.” 

 

A must read for everyone, written with a good dose of Afghan humour and a reminder Afghanistan is not just a conflict, but also a very diverse and interesting country.
