Sitara grew up in an artistic and supportive family in Kabul, Afghanistan. When the family moved to India she created a solid basis for her future acting career with traditional Khatak dance (telling a story through movement/dance), participating in talent shows and live performances. Like many Afghans, the family followed the challenging route to the West hoping to find a better future for the whole family.
Sitara has experienced different cultures, rules and regulations, having to adjust and integrate many times, which wasn't always easy, but it made her grow as a person and she used her talents to be accepted and make new friends. She kept on studying hard and never gave up following her passion and dream to end up in Hollywood with a flourishing career as an actress, dancer, choreographer, linguist, voice over artist and model.
